Theebaan G

Born and raised in Kuala Lumpur, Theebaan Govindasamy (widely known as Theebaan G) is a Malaysian actor, martial artist, and technology entrepreneur. He began his martial arts journey at the age of five and has since built a formidable athletic career as an eight-time National Karate Champion and two-time SEA Games silver medalist. Transitioning to mixed martial arts, he became the 2016 Malaysian MMA Welterweight Champion and represented Malaysia at the 2017 IMMAF World Championship in Bahrain. In 2018, his competitive success culminated in winning Amateur Fighter of the Year at the Asian MMA Awards.

Theebaan gained widespread cinematic recognition for his breakout role as Shailesh (Misi) in the highly acclaimed 2018 military action film PASKAL: The Movie. His extensive background in combat sports naturally extended into screen combat, where he operates as a professional fight choreographer. His acting credits span major Malaysian film and television productions, including J2: J Retribusi (2021), Ada Hantu (2021), Malbatt: Misi Bakara (2023), and the action web series Special Force: Anarchy (2023).
